Special Needs Teacher

​

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a diploma in related field

  • Obtain CGPA at least 3.1 and above or equivalent.

  • Able to communicate in English

  • Knowledge of Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage

  • Good written skill in English 

  • Good interpersonal skill and communication skill

  • Mature and responsibility

  • Creative and able to think out of the box

  • Self-motivated, patient, and passion

  • Able to work in team as well as work independently

  • Able to work over time

  • Able to handle 4 Children with Special Needs at a time

  • Able to work in Petaling Jaya OR Cheras

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a small group of students.

  • Monitor, assess and record individual students’ learning progress and development.

  • Develop teaching methods to meet individual needs of students.

  • Work with classroom-teacher to define necessary activities for students in relation to the curriculum.

  • Set targets for raising achievement among students.

  • Preparation of teaching materials/teaching aids, IPP, portfolio, weekly progress report, lesson plan and home learning books.

  • Regular communication and updates with the parents both in school and for home visits.

  • Participate in parents meetings.

  • Participate in school and department meetings.

  • Participate in professional development training.

 

 

Assistant Teacher
 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Special Needs/Early Education/Psychology 

  • Able to communicate well in English

  • Knowledge of Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage

  • Mature and responsible

  • Creative and able to think out of the box

  • Self-motivated, patient and passionate

  • Able to work in team as well as work independently

  • Able to work over time

  • Able to work in Petaling Jaya OR Cheras

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to children with special needs on an individual, class or small group basis

  • Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language

  • Helping develop programmes of learning activities and to adapt appropriate materials

  • Motivating and encouraging pupils

  • Assisting with marking and correcting work

  • Attending meetings and reviews

  • Helping with school events, trips, and activities
 
Part-Time Teacher - Bahasa Malaysia 
 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a diploma in related field

  • Possess at least 1 year teaching experience in Bahasa Malaysia

  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Good written skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Good interpersonal skill and communication skill

  • Mature and responsibility

  • Creative, able to think out of the box

  • Self-motivated, patient and passion

  • Able to work in team as well as work independently

  • Able to work over time

  • Able to handle 10 Young Children with Special Needs (primary 1 to primary 6) at a time with 1 assistant teachers

  • Able to work in PJ and Cheras center

Occupational Therapist
 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Recognised Occupational Therapy degree

  • Self–starter with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who is able to operate in a flexible, fast-paced and opportunistic environment.

  • Collaborate well and maintain good relationship with our team members, families, community resources, referral sources and other stakeholders

  • Committed to lifelong learning  and continuing education for personal and professional growth

  • Openness to being coached, trained and mentored to demonstrate good knowledge and practice standards of Occupational Therapy (OT) care to paediatric clients and their families and harness these skills:-

    • Critical-thinking

    • Occupation-centred and performance focus

    • Therapeutic use of self in relationship to others

    • Use of applicable physical resources in daily activities, routines & environment as part of the center curriculum

    • Organisational readiness in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meets the IEP goals and needs and determine quality OT care recommendations in consultation with the team and other relevant stakeholders

  • Evaluates results of OT by observing, checking-in and documenting their progress; recommending and implementing necessary adjustments and modifications

  • Ensuring consistency of care outside of Hatching Center environment by collaborating with families, caregivers and other stakeholders (if relevant) to design context-specific solutions and facilitating them towards achieving their own version of success

 
 
Speech-Language Therapist
 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Sciences or Speech Pathology.

  • At least two years of working experience in the related field.

  • Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply. Training and mentoring will be provided.

  • Responsible, hardworking and love to work with children.

  • Ready to take challenges, flexible and creative.

  • Able to work well with other professionals e.g. teachers or therapist as a team.

  • Have good clinical documentation skills and able to meet deadlines.

  • Willing to travel to PJ and Cheras center.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose children with speech, language, communication and/or feeding disorders.

  • Prepare individualised intervention goals in the areas of speech, language, communication and/or feeding.

  • Carry out the individual and group therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate with teachers from time-to-time regarding therapy session, and carryover of therapeutic goals and activities (suitable to be carried out in classroom settings).

  • Prepare weekly short note/report to parents.

  • Work closely with parents throughout the intervention process.

  • Prepare progress report at the end of the year for teachers’ and parents’ review. 

 
 
Admin

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software

  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage

  • Diploma/BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred

  • Able to work in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and liaise with parents on matters relating to fees payment and enquiries

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures

  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned

  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
